Members of the APPG on North Korea meet Julie Turner, US Ambassador for Human Rights in North Korea and deliver their message of appreciation to Army Veterans, commemorating the sacrifices made during the Korean War by British army personnel – including 1000 fatalities.

During a meeting with Officers and Members of the APPG on North Korea, US Ambassador for Human Rights in North Korea, Julie Turner expressed, her gratitude to UK Government, Catherine West MP, and the APPG on North Korea.

Later in the day, to mark Remembrance of the Korean War, the APPG NK Secretariat visited the Korean War veterans at the Royal Hospital Chelsea on behalf of the APPG on North Korea. The veterans expressed their thanks for the visit, but the AP{PG made clear that “all the gratitude is ours”. We remain deeply grateful for their service and sacrifice for the freedom of the Korean people, and we will never forget them.
