Legislation: Nationality and Borders Bill – Amendment 51.
Amendment 51 provides a safe route for people who are victims of genocide, a route that is currently not available in the UK.

UK says the number of girls at risk of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) “is growing” with 230 million women and girls alive today who have undergone FGM and 4.2 million girls at risk of undergoing FGM every year. The UK is investing up to £35.5 million in the Africa-Led Movement to End FGM programme which operates in Kenya, Senegal, Somalia, and Ethiopia. Government says”We must work 27 times faster to eliminate FGM by 2030″
