    Lord David,

Your recent article in the Universe about the elections in the Congo are quite relevent in that news has just come from the DRC that the incumbant President Kabila is preventing the leading candidate for the presidency from travelling around the country by preventing him using an aircraft to fly to the different regions. Tschekedi is surrounded in his hotel by Kabila’s supporters and troops in Kindu. Please let the Foriegn Secretary know.
